Product Overview

Nymphaea 'Meteor' has medium red/pink flowers. Flowers are around 5" and the lily pads are a maroon or green, depending on maturity and summer heat. This red hardy water lily is a good bloomer and a great choice for both large and small water gardens. It multiplies quickly for a red, which makes a specimen plant quickly and therefore more blooms. The correct name is Meteor, but an importer renamed it decades ago for marketing purposes, so  it is better known as Rembrandt in this country because decades ago an importer decided Rembrandt was a more marketable name. Meteor by either name is probably the most sold red hardy waterlily!
