Corkscrew Rush (Juncus effusus 'Spiralis')
Everyone seems to enjoy this unique plant. The green, cylindrical stems are pointed at the tips and twist and "corkscrew". Corkscrew Rush is a fascinating accent plant along the edge of the pond or planted in a container water garden. Usually evergreen.
Hardiness Zone: 4-11
Planting Container: We recommend a 2 gallon solid planting container or a medium planting bag. Also does really well in a 10" floating planting container.
Light Requirements: full sun to part shade
Height: 12" to 24" - Spread: Running Spread
Water Depth: Moist soil or water up to 3" deep (Maximum water depth is for mature bog plants)
