This variety of Hymenocallis will tolerate more shade than other varieties. The bulbs will winter over in the pond as long as they are below the freeze line.

Light Requirements: full sun to part shade
Height: 12" to 18" - Spread: 12" Wide

    Variegated spider lily

Posted by Bonnie Graniero on May 21st 2019

Arrived in good condition, packed well. I planted it immediately, it's in the water and seems to be growing. I ordered this last year in the fall and it didn't make it through the winter--which was fairly mild, so I suspect that it is not too tolerant of cold altho I have the non-variegated variety and it does just fine in the winter.

First time ordering this particular plant. Very happy with the condition of the plant received. Anxious for it to mature and bloom.
