Iris x Robusta 'Dark Aura'
Dark Aura is a cross between our native Northern and Southern Blue Flag Iris. The resulting foliage is beautifully purple when it emerges in Spring, gradually turning green as it matures. The attractive spring flowers are a darker blue-purple than the parent species, and the flowering stems are tall and black. An excellent choice for naturalizing along stream beds, natural pond shorelines, and marshy areas. The Royal Horticultural Society gave an Award of Merit fot Dark Aura in 2005.

Planting Container: We recommend a 2 gallon solid planting container or a medium planting bag.
Light Requirements: full sun to part shade
Height: 30-36" - Spread: 12-24"
Water Depth: Moist to water depth of 6" (Maximum water depth is for mature plants)
