Nelumbo 'High Cotton' White Hardy Water Lotus
If you want a wonderful large white lotus, High Cotton will tick all the boxes. It is a great bloomer, pure white, and it manages to look like a multi-petal blossom nestled inside a larger single petaled blossom! Everyone should be in High Cotton!
SIZE: Large (Height 4' to 5', Large Spread)
PLANTING CONTAINER: We recommend a 2 1/2 gallon solid container
LIGHT REQUIREMENTS: FULL SUN
WATER DEPTH: 3" TO 18" (Maximum water depth is for mature lotus)
USDA HARDINESS ZONES: 4-11
Lotus are sold as bare root tubers, or sometimes later in the Spring as runners with small leaves. The growing points are fragile, and must be handled very carefully.
