Variegated Cattail (Typha latifolia variegata)

The leaves are variegated vertically with bright green and white stripes. This showy cattail is a welcome addition to the water garden. Produces catkins (Catkins are sterile) in late summer. Variegated Cattails are robust growers and will need plenty of room to spread.

Hardiness Zone: 4-11
Planting Container: We recommend a 2 gallon solid planting container or a medium planting bag.
Light Requirements: full sun to part shade
Height: 5'-6' - Spread: Running Rhizomes
Water Depth: Moist soil or water to 12" deep (Maximum water depth is for mature bog plants)

    The plant came just as if I picked it out of a pond. I have bought plants from them before, and they were really nice—a great place to go for pond plants.
