Red Iris (Iris fulva)
This attractive red iris has arching bright green leaves with showy brick-red to copper colored flowers that grow off a slender stalk above the foliage. This is a perfect plant for moist to wet soils in full sun but will also tolerate part shade. Also, known as Copper Iris, it is a very hardy iris and is one of the Louisiana Iris species.
Hardiness Zone: 5-11
Planting Container: We recommend a 2 gallon solid planting container or a medium planting bag.
Light Requirements: full sun to part shade
Height: 12" to 18" - Spread: 12" to 24"
Water Depth: Moist Soil or water up to 3" above the crown (Maximum water depth is for mature bog plants)
