Nymphaea 'Purple Joy' Tropical Waterlily

Nymphaea 'Purple Joy' is a new bicolor waterlily from Thailand. This brilliant bloom is edged in deep purple fades into a highly contrasted brilliant white center. The bloom is elevated above brilliant green viviparous lily pads.

CHARACTERISTICS: Viviparous - Free flowering, fragrant, purple
SIZE: MEDIUM (Medium Spread)
PLANTING CONTAINER: We recommend a 2 gallon solid planting container or a medium planting bag.
LIGHT REQUIREMENTS: FULL SUN
WATER DEPTH: 6" TO 24" (Maximum water depth is for mature water lilies)
USDA HARDINESS ZONES: 9-11

    The name may not be the best, but this is a truly lovely flower and so different! It arrived well packed and was large, bare root, blooming when arrived. So happy i picked this one to add to my collection.
