Nymphaea 'Purple Beauty'
Purple Beauty is a cross between Nymphaea 'Blue Beauty" and an unknown purple tropical waterlily. The blooms are very similar to that of Blue Beauty but with a deep purple coloring instead. The lily pads when mature have a slight mottling. Purple Beauty was introduced to the water garden community in 2015.
CHARACTERISTICS: Non-VivIparous - Free Flowering, Sweet Fragrance, slight mottling of pads
SIZE: MEDIUM (4' to 7' Spread)
PLANTING CONTAINER: We recommend a 2 gallon solid planting container or a medium planting bag.
LIGHT REQUIREMENTS: FULL SUN
WATER DEPTH: 12" TO 30" (Maximum water depth is for mature water lilies)
USDA HARDINESS ZONES: 10-11
Water Lilies are shipped bare root and will require planting upon arrival.
