Mexicana has yellow flowers that vary from pale to very bright yellow. The green lily pads are tropical in appearance with purple variegation. It is not a true hardy lily, however it can winter over in Zone 5 and above. Very free flowering and the blossoms are held high above the water similar to a tropical water lily.
