Chameleon Plant (Houttuynia cordata variegeta)
A showy plant with heart-shaped variegated leaves of crimson, green, cream and yellow. Chameleon works well as a ground cover near the edge of the pond. The leaves are fragrant and it gets a small white flower in early summer.
Hardiness Zone: 5-11
Planting Container: We recommend a 2 gallon solid planting container or a medium planting bag. Also does really well in a 10" floating planting container.
Light Requirements: full sun to part shade
Height: 6"-12" - Spread: Running Habit
Water Depth: Moist soil or water up to 1" (Maximum water depth is for mature bog plants)
