Hardy Umbrella Grass (Cyperus longus)
Hardy umbrella grass has a pleasing fragrance and is also called Sweet Galingale. The frond heads have fewer leaves than the tropical papyrus. Hardy Umbrella Grass is a striking plant when planted in large patches.
Hardiness Zone: 4-8
Planting Container: We recommend a 2 gallon solid planting container or a medium planting bag.
Light Requirements: full sun to part shade
Height: 2'-4' - Spread: Running
Water Depth: Moist soil or water up to 6" deep (Maximum water depth is for mature bog plants)
